China's Drive-In Car Museum

3GATTI Architecture Studio of Rome and Shanghai have won a competition to design a drive-in automobile museum in Nanjing, China.
As visitors reach the summit, they can leave their car, walk down the inner spiral ramp, and check out all the exhibits. Once they reach the ground floor, they can take an elevator and return to their car on the roof, or a chauffeur will bring it down for them.

Mercedes Biome Concept

At the 2010 Los Angeles Design Challenge, the designers from the Mercedes-Benz Advanced Design Studios in Carlsbad, California, surprised everyone with a revolutionary vision. Taking their inspiration from nature, they designed a vehicle which is fully integrated into the ecosystem, from the moment of its creation right through to the end of its service life.  Out on the road the car emits pure oxygen.

Audi E Tron Spyder

The Audi e-tron Spyder is being dubbed as a diesel-electric roadster, a pairing of active descriptors that further prove the advancement in automotive ingenuity. At first glance this may appear like merely a roofless, R8-based all-electric e-tron that was unveiled in Frankfurt in 2009.  Rather, this is a longer and wider inclination that still features the plug-in diesel-electric powertrain. The 69-cell lithium-ion battery pack is good for 9.1-kilowatt hours, weighs around 220 pounds and is situated up front together with the electric motors.
