Vieria Concept
This conceptual vehicle offers one different point of view over the pollution problems in the big cities. It was designed by Gunwoong Kim and Suji Kim and is equipped with an air filter under the passenger capsule. So here is what we have: fully electric vehicle that ingests dusty and dirty air purifies it and releases clean and breathable air. Sounds good, right? Well, a single car would probably clean small and maybe insignificant amount of air, but imagine thousands of vehicles purifying what you breathe every day?

Electric Plane Wins Biggest Prize
Electric Plane Wins Biggest Prize in Aviation History. Nasa has awarded biggest prize in aviation history to an electric plane after its team designed a craft that flew 200miles in two hours. The $1.35million prize was handed to the crew behind the Taurus G4 plane designed by the Pipistrel-USA team. The Taurus G4 was in competition against two other craft as part of the CAFE Green Flight Challenge final, backed by Nasa, which aimed to make green air travel a realistic possibility.

The original library held the largest collection of manuscripts in the world and was a great center of learning for 600 years until it burned down in the 3rd century. The dramatic new library, resembling an angled discus or a great sundial, was designed by a Norwegian architect and cost about $200 million.

The concept behind these houses is that Piet Blom tries to create a forest by each cube representing an abstract tree; therefore the whole village becomes a forest. The cubes contain the living areas, which are split into three levels. The triangle-shaped lower level contains the living area. The middle level contains the sleeping area and a bathroom, while the top level, also in a triangular shape, is used as either an extra bedroom or a living space.
