Nemo33 – the world’s deepest swimming pool, created by Belgian diving expert and civil engineer John Beernaerts in 2004 in Brussels, circular pit descending to a depth of 33 meters, 2.5 million liters of chlorine-free warm water and the temperature maintained at 33 degrees Celsius (91 degrees F). A luxury liner struck on a rock and ran aground in Italian waters
