Mamata in Time's world's 100 most influential

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who has been in the news recently for all the wrong reasons, has been named among the 100 most influential people in the world by the Time magazine in its 2012 list. Time said that the 57-year-old Bengal chief minister, fondly called Didi by her supporters, spent years struggling on the sidelines but finally proved to be the 'consummate politician'.
